Fungus gnats don’t stand a chance against Summit Mosquito Bits. The popular biological control that kills mosquito larvae is now also approved for controlling fungus gnats.
The active ingredient is a naturally occurring bacterium known as Bacillus thuringiensis subspecies israelensis. All you have to do is shake the Mosquito Bits onto the potting soil, or mix it in with the soil before planting. It’s also effective in standing water, water gardens, flower pots, tree holders and more.
Mosquito Bits will kill larvae for one to two weeks.
