Musical rain falls in Dresden

by Kate Spirgen | July, 2012
An art installation turns rain drops into music.

There’s a wall in Germany where the sound of rainfall is actually music to the ears. Located in the Neustadt Kunsthofpassage neighborhood of Dresden, the wall is covered with funnels, pipes and gutters that make a beautiful sound during a downpour.

Designed by Christoph Robner, Annette Paul and Andre Tempel, the piece adds a little bright spot to a dreary day in Dresden.
